"Absolutely no empathy whatsoever from any staff! Emergency room staff is very rude and no compassion. I sat in that er room for 2 hours before anyone came to check on me. Not one time did any of the floor nurses come in but they sure did have lots of time to talk about what donuts they liked!! I chose to go to Manistee for the best service and I never seen such lack of empathy or compassion! Very disappointed. Don’t believe I should have to pay for sitting in an emergency room and treated like I was an inconvenience for 5 hours!! Doctor didn’t even know why I was there once he showed up after 2 hours. I also passed out on the bathroom floor and hurt my elbow and back from the fall. And that was as I was about to get discharged! Only then was I treated like I was in an emergency room! And tests we’re actually done on me! Very disappointed."
"I rank it one only because of my visit earlier this morning the Dr told me maybe if I lose weight maybe they would be able to feel or see something wrong but he had no interest in my well being until I started crying and telling him maybe if I lost weight he would treate better"
"My grandma was brought here after a very tragic event happening on lake MI. Her phone obviously wasn’t working no family was there yet as the closest person lived still almost 2 hours from manistee. I called to hear my grandmothers voice a lady who I am very very close to and her nurse was so rude over the phone to me. I made her promise me she would let my grandma know that I called and she didn’t. Sometimes family’s don’t all speak to each other and that’s not the hospitals fault but to blatantly be rude as a nurse is ridiculous all I needed was to hear my grandmas voice after the event that happened. Then she gets transferred to traverse city so i make the drive to see her and then I hear how they treated her in a time like that. She had a puff on her hand over the size of a soft ball because they had someone trying to draw blood from her and he was new and clearly didn’t pass any schooling before coming to work at this hospital what a joke. You all should be ashamed of yourselves every single one of you who work here. When one person fails on your team it’s still a workable team but when several people fail on your team now it’s no longer a team it’s a joke. I will be getting legalities involved."
