"We tried El Charrito last night for our date night. I was not disappointed I'm the least. The food was seasoned wonderfully. The service was delightful! Our server was very attentive. The only not totally negative, just preference. The sauce for my birra was a tad bit salty, but still flavorful. And the queso we ordered was small, but that serving size was tiny. Still, very delicious. Overall, we will be returning."
"The El Charrito Mexican grill in portage is an absolute gem the absolute best in this area. Their enchiladas verde is the best I've ever had the verde sauce is the best here and their taco barrio is fire here too. The margaritas are really good too. Our Server Sally suggested both meals and she was absolutely right about both. Sally was so nice and gave us great service. I highly recommend this mex grill restaurant is excellent . We will definitely be back."
"We went in for lunch on a Monday around noon. It seemed a bit quiet, but we got very fast and friendly service. It was nice to have a lunch menu available(11am-2pm, I believe). We ordered a small Queso Dip to go with the complimentary chips and salsa, a Monday Margarita special in the strawberry flavor(small for $3.99), Arroz con Pollo, and the lunch special: 2 steak tacos with rice and beans for $9.99(steak was a dollar upcharge). After tax, it came to $34 and some change. It was well worth it! Everything was delicious and we enjoyed our first visit. It won't be our last. Thank you!"
