"Don't expect a good education from here. The staff here is absolutely useless. I took one class last winter(2023) and was told the last time I was physically in the office registering, picking classes and talking to financial aid that everything was going to be covered by financial aid and that I had $600 to spend in the book store. When I bought my books it was just over $300. Then I get a bill in the mail about a month ago in 2024 saying I owe them about $120. When I called them the first time in January 2024 I had to leave a message and they never called me back. Weeks later I call again and am told that I owe them for my books. That the pell grant covered the tuition and fees but there was not enough left for the books. But when I bought my books I was never even given an option to put a credit card in to pay for anything. Now they're telling me that the Michigan reconnect only covers tuition and fees and that's why I owe for the books. When I asked why I was not told any of this when I was in the office speaking with them before the class in 2023 I was told it's because they are understaffed and everyone that year was new. Seriously?!? So basically I have a bill unexpectedly because they're understaffed and nobody knows what they're doing? I asked the financial aid office this she said yes basically. Absolutely useless. Why was I told everything would be covered and that I had $600 in the bookstore? And now I'm being told that was a lie and their excuse is that they don't know what they're doing and apparently do not train their new staff."
"This “school” is a woke JOKE. You see 4+ stars average but scroll through and see they’re all for a great Covid vaccination location. The administration is terribly unorganized, ignorant, and the instructors are pathetic and barely teach. UNBELIEVABLE this is supposed to be an education but it’s nothing but a scam!"
"My husband and I went to get our Covid vaccine. All of the Workers and Medical personal were all very polite and helpful. It was very organized and went smoothly. They are doing a great job. Thank you for your Service to your community."
"Health Dept was organized for vaccines but workers were not patience with older people. They were very short with me when i asked again about paperwork or couldn't see small print. They are dealing with 65-100 year olds. Be nice please. Do your job!"
"This is fine college of higher learning. They care about their students and stay at the lead in science."
