Hampton Inn Monroe

"This hampton inn has a lot of character and is not like every other hotel. However, the rooms are nice and feel like they have been recently been renovated. There is also a breakfast served in the lobby every morning and they have a snack shop next to the lobby that offers many different options. Overall when I come back to Monroe Michigan I would definitely stay at this hotel again but hopefully next time their is warmer weather."

"My room was musty. Manager and front desk was absolutely horrible. The room lights didint work at all there were bugs in. The shower like a bunch. Bed was real scratchy and uncomfortable i slept on the couch cause may have been bed bugs. I called and escalated to hilton customer service which they gave me points. But id a rather had the money then support that hotel i stayed at. Will most definitely take my business else where from here forward. Sincerly Loyal customer"

"I chose this hotel over all others because they offered EV charging. When I arrived, I asked about it, and they said it was $5 per hour to charge my car. $5 per hour is a little pricy. I would have needed about 6 hours to top off the charge which would have been $30. This is fine in a pinch as the nearest Tesla supercharger is about 30 miles away from here and would cost about $25 to charge in about 40 minutes. So, $5 per hour is not unreasonable, but unexpected. I arrived at 30% and decided not to pay $5 per hour. That said, I would not have chosen to stay in Monroe MI and would have stayed in a nicer hotel. The first room I was provided had ROACHES. I counted 6 ROACHES in the bathroom. Some of them scurried off as we turned the lights on. The woman at the front desk was happy to put us in another room which did not appear to have bugs, but we couldn't help but to wonder if they were there all night. Are you itchy in bed because of an insect. Unsettling for sure. The toilet flushing system is the loudest I have ever heard. Lobby heavy smell of weed. I will not be coming back to this chain."

"All staff members were very friendly. Room was super clean, beds were very comfortable. Very happy with room size and furnishings. Nice bedding! Very quiet. Decent breakfast choices. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I would not hesitate to come back again."
