"Looking for a unique place then this is it! The staff/owners all get five stars. This place is quaint and reminds me of the place on the Gilmore girls show. We went on a couples golf weekend. They are the one stop that has it all. The dining experience is wonderful. The mornings with Alecia serving warm breads, fruit, yogurt, juices (and the best coffee I’ve had in a while) is a great way to start your morning. The bedrooms are nice size with comfortable mattresses. The golf course is beautiful and it is maintained well. There are challenges on the course (but not too many ) we all really liked it a lot. We look forward to coming back again!"

"My heartfelt thanks to Greg Ruppert, owner of Head Hawk Inn for saving my wedding. I dreamed of holding a ceremony on the shores of Lake Michigan and was looking for a place for the reception in South Haven. We were recommended several places in South Haven, but we could not get through to them, and the administrators asked us to send letters to the mail and they did not answer. And there was little time before a decision was made. I called the Hawkshead Inn in desperation, and Greg answered the phone. He said that theoretically everything is possible, reassured me and we agreed to come and see everything on the spot. When my husband and I arrived, I was delighted with the atmosphere of this place - the atmosphere of serenity and the beauty of nature. This is exactly the place where I wanted to have my wedding! There is a golf course nearby, a very pleasant patio, a green courtyard with an arch, where you can take beautiful photos. And, most importantly, Greg, who has been organizing weddings in his hotel for over 30 years. I really liked his words: the main thing is that you come, and we will do everything. As a result, the wedding exceeded all expectations: 1) Jeannie, the decorator and bartender, created an amazing decor from what we brought, and then put it all together 2) Mike, the chef, prepared food better than in Michelin restaurants, everything the guests commented that the food was amazing The crab fondue was wonderful and the fish from Lake Michigan was just so delicious! 3) We were helped to set up a sound system for our presenter and singer Svetlana Stone And many guests said that it was the best wedding in their memory. After the wedding, we stayed in the Hawkshead Inn room with a fireplace, panoramic windows to the forest and black squirrels. It was so romantic! Thank you so much Greg, I will always remember this day and my heart is still warm when I remember you and your help, so needed at the right time. I can recommend Hawkshead Inn to anyone who wants to make their holiday amazing and keep bright deep pleasant impressions for the rest of their lives, not only in a photo album, but also in their hearts. "We stayed at the cabins for a bachelorette party and we loved it! There are 4 rooms - each room has a queen bed and a twin bed. Each room also has its own bathroom. There is also a washer and dryer and plenty of seating in the living and kitchen area. It was very clean! I have also stayed in the inn many times and love it - only 5 mins from the beach and downtown. The restaurant is also amazing. My favorite place in south haven!"

"My Friend and I biked to the inn from Kalamazoo. The Staff was awesome and made every accommodation for us. The Restaurant was amazing, we didn't have one bad meal or drink. The staff made us feel like we were at home. The golf course looked amazing... Our golf skills were lacking, but we still had an amazing trip. Thanks Hawkshead!"

"What an absolute fantastic venue to play and stay. All aspects of the experience were top notch. From the moment we stepped foot on the property to the time we left, 4 days later, we were made to feel better than family. Food was great, accommodations were excellent and the golf was phenomenal.
