"I was going to have an initial meeting with the Burzynski Group, but after reading the firm's Form ADV Part 2A, I declined per the fee section of the form stating, "Typically, the model manager’s fee will range from 0.00% to 0.75% annually. A typical distribution for an annual fee of 1.75% would include an allocation of 1.35% to AE Wealth Management (including the asset based custodial fee), and an allocation of .01% to .50% to the manager of the selected model portfolio." I left my previous financial manager (Vanguard Personal Advisor Services) because they charged .03% of assets undermanagement, and after setting-up the initial asset allocation of my investment portfolio they made three simple allocation rebalance moves within three years. This cost me $12,000.00 for about an hour of their time to do a simple rebalance. Before signing up with any financial planner review very carefully their fees--they add up quickly! One-percent is now considered on the high side for fees related to an "assets under management" fee structure."
