"I expected the cabins to be better maintained. The tub leaked from the faucets and some other spot the sent water across the floor. The jets malfunctioned and only some worked. Function aside, I had to fish hair out after partially filling it. Apparently, the trap hadn't been cleaned. Be warned that the only food you can order in from them is from a pizza place. Don't expect one of the meals shown on the website. The compressor on the fridge in Lighthouse is obnoxiously loud and should be replaced. Combine that with the tub self-cleaning cycle starting in the middle of the night and you shouldn't expect a good night's sleep."

"Such a wonderful resort! Everything is so beautiful here! It's really a testament to how well taken care of everything is here. From the cute little cabins, the stunning views and the wildlife that freely roams the grounds. We would highly recommend a romantic stay here. If you choose to stay the entire time on the grounds and in your cabin the resort includes a "Butler Box" service. This is essentially a built-in two way cabinet located in the front of the cabin which opens outside on the front porch and also inside your cabin. This is used as a way to leave you snacks, meals, random surprise goodies (especially if you stay during a holiday) and anything you request during your stay. It's an awesome handy feature that allows you to get anything you need without ever having to leave the resort. If you do want to venture out there's an abundance of great breweries, restaurants, distilleries and entertainment close by. A 15 minute drive either north or south will take you to Michigan City or downtown Laporte, respectively. Head about 20-30 minutes west you can visit Valparaiso or the Indiana Dunes National Park. If you choose to head east you can stop by Three Oaks and New Buffalo. We really can't recommend a stay here enough! P.S. We almost forgot to mention that as you can obviously see by our pictures, some of the cabins are dog friendly! So you can bring your furry family member with for your adventure!"

"We had the most wonderful time at Serenity Springs. The cabin we were in (#9) was beautiful and so clean. All the little touches really made the stay amazing. There was only one thing that tarnished my opinion a little. We had to leave early in the morning the day we checked out and put our vehicle tag in the drop box, I got a phone call at noon from a woman who identified herself as the front desk who rudely told me it was noon and checkout was 11. Her tone of voice was very angry. I told her we left and that we did deposit the hang tag and left the keys and she apologized and said she didn't see the hang tag. I understand being upset but a softer approach would have accomplished the same thing without upsetting me."

"My husband and I stayed in cabin #12 which was Congo for our 10 year anniversary. We had the most memorable and fantastic stay, we absolutely loved the Butler Communication and how fast all the girls were to respond. The only down fall was we wished they had signs pointing to which way the cabins were located at. Other than that 10/10 we would definitely go back!"

"This place is amazing! My husband and I stayed from a Friday-Monday to celebrate our 7th year wedding anniversary and stayed in cabin 16 (Jewel). The staff was amazing and accommodating, the grounds are well groomed and beautiful. Loved the fall flags along the path! Clean rooms, hot water, and peace and quiet! The butler box is an amazing thing too! Dinner delivered to our room twice! Cant forget to mention the butler box surprises and the chocolate covered strawberries we ordered! Yumm! We hope to make this a yearly thing! We are already talking about our next trip to Serenity Springs!"
