"Hot tub looks kinda yellowish green. Pool was nice. Rooms were clean. Everything else was fine."
"Our room was dirty when we checked in the toilet seat was dirty razor left in shower, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed. Then when they switched us rooms there was a dirty tray in refrigerator. Woke up next day to my girlfriend having a sty."
"Stayed here for 3 days. Everything was good for the most part. The pool was closed for maintenance. Which is understandable when it's off season for the area. The only other thing I didn't care for was the memory foam type mattress. Felt like I was gonna sink to the basement ( which there isn't one)."
"We stayed on October 27th, 2023. The property was adequate, but there were some things I would be aware of. Overall, the property seemed clean, not immaculate, but acceptable. We specifically stayed at this hotel for their indoor pool, unfortunately, we didn't get to test it out as it was closed and being refilled. This isn't impacting my overall rating, just posting that I can't comment on the pool. Breakfast was basic, but sufficient (bagels, muffins, waffles, cereal and yogurt). Some items were out of stock (cereal specifically). The biggest thing I would point out is that our beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in. They were clean, but they were incredibly soft. My 55pound daughter was sinking into the bed. I assume all of the beds are the same. If you need a firm or medium firm bed, I would stay elsewhere. Wifi worked well, checking and checkout were fairly quick. It is close to US 127 and a decent stopping place if traveling through Michigan. Personally, due to the beds, we would not stay there again unless it was a last resort."
"Clean. Clean smell walking into lobby. Clean smell walking into the room. Crisp clean sheets. Neat appearance throughout. Breakfast was good. Not great, but far better than a continental. Chose this location based on reviews, mostly the bad reviews of neighboring hotels, and am happy we stayed at American Inn. Highly recommend."
