"This company is a joke. The rates seem good but when you go to make a claim they are extremely unhelpful. I had a fire in my living room on my hardwood floor and the agent told me they were just going to swap out the bad part. Also told me that they require all damaged electronics back so they can donate them, even though it wasn't anywhere in the policy. Had to wait 3 days to get somewhere to live. Then after that had to find a place myself because they couldn't find one. Refused to repaint the kitchen cabinets but painted the rest of the house. Refused to replace the furniture in the room where the fire happened. I could go on and on and really wish 0 stars was an option."

"I had a house fire caused by a plug in my bedroom. A fire investigation reported it was an accident and unavoidable. Fremont dropped my insurance without warning, sold it to a different company, and to top it all off they declared it was arson on their end. 100 percent false. I woke up because I MYSELF was on fire in my bedroom. There was almost no escaping it. After Fremont issued "their report of arson" of what happened; it is and has been almost impossible to get homeowners insurance again. You guys should be ashamed. Puting a 100 percent disabled veteran in this position . Tisk tisk.."

"If I could give zero stars I would. I recommend anyone who is seeking a good insurance partner to steer far from this company. In 2020, I was a Sanford Lake flood victim insured by Fremont. It was one of the hardest moments of my family's life (wife/3 kids under 12). When calling to see what coverage/support we would get our agent would not return calls or emails. I even contacted and went straight to the President and that individual did not return my calls. It took many attempts to talk to our agent and I had to even state that I would contact my attorney. Once I did that I heard back! The message was simple to me .... Mr. Walker there is nothing we can do for you. Sympathy was something I was seeking. Me neighbors who was impacted actually had their insurance agencies contact them. Could you imagine? Some of them received 5 or 10K checks to support their clients during a tragic time. Instead, my partner Freemont chose a much worse path. Time has moved on, but I have not forgotten and needed to share my experience. I hope it helps others consider their options."

"Disappointing. Website is poor and poorly supported at least thru GravityWorks. The 'forgot password' process is not functional after multiple tries. Call customer service and they'll transfer you to IT, who don't answer. Their prices USED to be good but are now too high. My agent can't seem to get anything better through them. Poor communication and late mailings, as well as little to NO explanation of what you're receiving in the mail NOW. Looking forward to transferring to another company after my recent exorbitant payment."

"I just want to say that I experienced an awful wreck and was very overwhelmed and Fremont insurance really came through for me and honestly took the stress out of the situation .
