"Like to get food here when I'm around the area. Ordered spicy chicken bowl + all broccoli online. I get a call from the store saying they are out of broccoli. No problem, the staff went above and beyond to make it right. Love this place."

"I hate to do this. This place really did me dirty. First off, I know we all make mistakes sometimes, but this was just egregious. Decided to give this place a shot after reading some positive reviews, and this is how they do me. The cashier was very sweet and helpful, but thats as afar as the compliments go. I ordered a reg bowl with half orange chicken half teriyaki ($2.50 upcharge!), brown rice, and veggies. I only got orange chicken with white rice and veggies. I was the only person in line, how do you mess that up?"

"First time here and very impressed! The food was really good. Everything, especially the veggies, looked and tasted very fresh! The sauces were also really good and tied the bowls together. Persephone was our server/cook and was extremely helpful! They explained the options and answered all of our questions which made ordering very easy. The place itself was clean including the bathroom (single-toilet bathrooms) and the atmosphere was nice. Lots of natural light and space between tables so it wasn’t cramped at all. I highly recommend the katsu chicken with white rice!"

"My family has been enjoying the Valparaiso location since they opened a few years ago. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients as well as the portion sizes for your order are ALWAYS much higher than you'd expect for the given price point. The cooks they have are EXEPTIONAL for this type of establishment, something you'd only expect at a finer dinning venue. Your meals are ALWAYS made to order and are expertly prepared (so it may take a few extra minutes for your fresh meal to be ready but it is always worth the wait), never setting under a heat lamp for who knows how long before being served. They are also VERY accommodating to special request if you want something a particular way or have special dietary considerations. Probably my favorite thing about the menu options is the offering of all the main dishes in what they call the "Power Bowl"! Instead of mixing rice in with some veggies (onion, carrots, cabbage and broccoli) you get ONLY the veggies and an ample amount of them as well, they will even customize that... say you're not a fan of cabbage?... just order the "Power Bowl without cabbage" - a great way to loose the extra carbs! Lastly, the new manager is excellent and cares about her business! She is always on top of thing to make sure you have great experience and in a clean and welcoming environment!"
