"My girlfriend and I have visited here several times, and we are never disappointed. She’s a huge seafood fan and absolutely loves oysters, while I tend to stick more with regular American comfort food. Blue Point has us both covered, with oysters to satisfy her cravings, and delicious, juicy burgers for me. They have a full bar as well, making Blue Point the perfect place to stop in for a full dinner, or just a quick bite and a drink."
"Went to a Christmas concert at my Alma Meter with my wife. Afterwards we dined at Blue Point. Downtown Valpo which as certainly changed in 25 years for the better, more dining options. Blue Point has a nostalgic vibe in a historic building. Had crab cake appetizer which was Mexican influenced with chilies and corn, delicious. Saturday special was half priced fresh shucked oysters. Dinner was a lobster roll and onion rings for me, wife had a Ono fish dish prepared grilled with a teriyaki. Food was delicious and priced well compared to Chicago. We will go back for sure in the future, it's a win for seafood lovers."
"The food was great! Awesome Mahi-mahi dish and the Beer-battered fish-n-chips!! The fish is very fresh and so were all the veggies (not from frozen). Sarah was our server outside on their front patio. She was super friendly and did a nice job. I can't wait to bring my parents back on their perch night! I highly recommend their Salmon dinner entree...soooo delicious! This is a great place for a family night out, a date, and to celebrate a special occasion."
"My mom was visiting from North Dakota and took me out to dinner. I live in Valpo and it was our first time here. The food was EXCELLENT! The oyster Rockefeller, lobster bisque, spider roll, Godzilla roll, and mafia roll were heaven! The taste was upscale while the atmosphere was intimate but casual. I loved the staff! Everyone was so pleasant. Highly recommend"
