"I chose the DMC/Rehab Institute of Michigan facility located in the Macomb YMCA for physical therapy following hip replacement surgery. I chose this location because I wanted the use of a pool for exercise . I had the benefit of aqua therapy, plus massage and guided instruction of an additional new exercise at each session. My therapist, Eileen, was wonderful; very motivating and encouraging in a friendly yet professional manner. As a bonus, once therapy is complete the facility gives each client a 1 month free membership for use of the pool and exercise equipment. "I cant express my appreciation for Eileen Zelenek and Janice. Both of their knowledge, kindness, and professionalism over time has restored me after a serious injury accident. Both are fantastic with hands on, they have the best tools and continue their education so they can bring the best and latest techniques to the patients. When working with Eileen she brought my life back and cant ever thank her enough. When something wasnt right post surgically, she was able to identify the problem and direct me so I could get a repair of the issue I had which was quite severe. Had it not been for her I truly would not be walking. I trust both her and Janice. They additionally both helped me after physical therapy in the Y gym and went over the machines with me to know how to continue my exercises the right way. The kindness and care they showed me and every single patient is surpassed by none. Truly committed to each patient's needs. Literally helped restore me to a functioning person.
