"Saw Dr. Sanchez for the first time, and what will be the last time, in February 2023 after I'd moved back to MI from CA, where I lived for 25 years. Just making the appointment was annoying, I called during business hours, but the recording said that the office was closed between noon-1:00 for lunch. I was calling after 1:00, it was almost 1:30 before someone finally answered. That was a red flag. I found Dr. Sanchez to be very condescending. I suppose that's for many reasons: he's young, hasn't had his medical degree for very long so he's throwing his weight around, I'm a woman and I'm a senior. I told him during the "exam", I use the word loosely, he never laid a finger on me, that the urinalysis would show occult blood. I've had occult blood in my urine for the past 41 years, ever since I started running, which I still do at the age of 75, six or seven days a week. He told me I needed to see a urologist, I told him that I had in the past and that I'd had CAT scans and cystoscopies, and that everything was normal. That wasn't good enough for him. As I was checking out he came up to me and showed me a print-out from the urinalysis. He said: "See, there's blood here." I responded: "Yeah, I told you that that's what you'd find." The results of my blood work showed that my total cholesterol levels were much higher than they have ever been, although my HDL's were high, as they've always been. He said that I needed to go on statins immediately. We argued about that for some time. I told him that I wanted my cholesterol levels checked again in three months, that I believed they were high because I'd had COVID. I also told him that based on the American Cardiology Association's risk calculator for heart attack or stroke, I was not at high risk. He pooh-poohed that idea. I have made an appointment for this coming May with a new doctor, a female, who gets excellent reviews. She's so well-liked that I made the appointment five months out. Today I called Dr. Sanchez's office to have him refill my Levothyroxine (the only medication I take) for 90 days until my appointment with the new doctor. I called three times after 1:00PM, all three times I got the same message: that I was calling during non-business hours, that the office was closed for lunch...but again lunch hours are supposed to be between Noon to 1:00. I do not recommend this practice."

"Dr. Nathanael Sanchez is the best internal medicine doctor I have ever had, hands down! He is caring, knowledgeable, thorough, responsive and kind. I’m so grateful that I found him! I never have to wait and nurse Melissa is so sweet! The front desk isn’t super friendly but that’s not a big deal to me. They get me in and out efficiently and that’s good enough."

"Dr falkel is very nice, but this office staff is the worst. I've scheduled appointments only to be turned away that day. Most recently, something was wrong with my refillable prescription, I was told to contact my PCP to request a refill, I've left three messages over a couple days, and they still have not replied. Still don't have my prescription. The worst."

"I was humiliated for not being able to e-check in. The front desk lady gave me such a hard time insisting that every doctor these days requires a e-check in. I have never felt so embarrassed in a doctors office. Dr. Falkell is very kind but I was in tears by the time she came in the room with how rudely I was treated by her front desk lady. Warning, if you don’t have access to technology to e-check in for every appointment, they will berate and humiliate you. *** We now go to Henry Ford Medical Center in downtown Royal Oak that does not require an e-check in. A human person will kindly check you in without humiliating you."

"My son was sick and I asked the receptionist a couple questions and she hung up on me mid sentence seemingly annoyed in tone and the entirety of the interaction horrible!!!"
