"After a recent hospital stay at Beaumont and seeing how downhill what was once the best hospital around has become, I was there waiting on one more test. An MRI. My attending told me I could stay through the weekend waiting for this test, but if I chose to do that I'd be lucky to have the test done before the next Tuesday since they have outsourced their entire MRI staff. I chose to be discharged with a script for the MRI. BASHA got me in the very next day. Clean, professional, compassionate staff. Will definitely schedule anymore testing I need to have done here!"

"Took my daughter here twice for an MRI on her shoulder. Paid cash both times never was told that we would owe anything more got two bills in the same month for different dollar amounts call the number to inquire about such charges, you can tell by talking to the person that she was frustrated with the people who handle Basha’s billing. If it wasn’t for her and her knowledge, she was able to determine the correct Bill. So we can pay them. I will never use Basha again. Basha needs to find qualified people with a knowledge of insurance companies and policies to help their patients instead of just keeping them in the dark. If you need an MRI, I suggest finding someone that has qualified insurance staff so you don’t get screwed with an outrageous bill."

"I have had chronic neck pain for over a year that is causing shoulder pain and chronic headaches. My doctor ordered an MRI. I'm claustrophobic so I required sedation. The building is past Royal Oak Beaumont and super close to the road. They're located just inside the front doors to the right. I was about an hour early and after filling out paperwork I was called to the desk and given a valium. It wasn't long before I was called back. Not sure what the rush for time was, but when I was escorted back to the MRI room ,I was given a paper gown. I noticed a lady there who appeared to be maybe a potential new employee just watching how they do everything. At least the lady who was rushing me was more concerned with her than myself. She gave me a minute to put on the gown and directed me around the corner to the MRI machine. I asked about leaving my purse in the changing room and she said it would be fine. As I followed her I was trying to tie the belt that is attached, and she said just leave it, and ripped the belt off. Like I was wasting her time. She yelled at me again for raising my arm while waiting for Dr. Basha to administer the sedation into the IV already in my arm. Dr. Basha was very pleasant and when the test was done I was back with the original lady who never introduced herself. She got me up right away. I was still out of it, but she was so annoying I did my best to walk to the room to get dressed. She said you can get dressed here, but it wasn't the initial room I changed in. No purse or clothing. She said oh I guess this is the wrong room. I followed her to the only other changing room and there's a couple sitting with my purse on the floor next to them. I grabbed everything and she was asking if I thought I was okay to leave. I agreed simply to get away from her and found my friend waiting. We got in the car and I saw Dr. Basha running towards the car tapping on the window. He said he was just making sure I had a ride. Maybe he also realized this employee wasn't actually interested in his patients. I wasn't impressed with the nurse obviously. The lady who booked my appointment was very nice as was the doctor, but I didn't appreciate the lack of care I received from the nurse. I saw my doctor who said how surprised he was when he opened the CD and looked at the image's. He said the report didn't read like there was any real issues, but the image's are clearly not normal. I hope Dr. Basha finds someone with a little more consideration for his patients, and maybe a radiologist who can write an accurate report. I am also not impressed that the nurse put two other patients in a room where my money and credit cards were sitting in my purse. Actually, I was still so groggy from the sedation, I wouldn't have been able to go through my wallet to see if anything was missing. I'm only giving a less than great review because of the nurse making me feel like I was taking up her time. I wouldn't take my purse if I needed another scan, but Dr. Basha is very kind."

"Ryan was the technician that worked with me and talked me through everything. He made it very comfortable which is difficult to do considering I recently discovered that I am claustrophobic. The equipment seems to be new and up to date! They had a disc printed almost instantly for my records! Everyone was very professional and friendly! It was clean! Also, the owner is probably one of the sweetest humans ever! If you need any imaging done, go here!"

"I have had several very good experiences at Basha, Royal Oak.   I have had x-rays, CT scans and an MRI done there recently.  Everyone there is friendly and accommodating and their appointments work with your needs.  I needed an MRI done and my doctors office had one set for 1 week out so I called Basha and they got me in the next day which meant I had results sooner so the problem could be addressed sooner."
