"Doc Sanberg and nurses are outstanding. Billing has had issues. I've encountered payments not being credited 3 times in 18 months so I'm a bit irritated with the billing and lack of response to errors in their favor everytime is becoming suspect. Despite a few errors I feel the medical staff is competent regarding the specific needs of older patients."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Sandberg's for quite some time now. I have high regards and respect for Dr Sandberg. He spends plenty of time with you, is personable and thorough. I've never had any issues with the staff...prescriptions are always promptly refilled. Great team. Thanks everyone."

"This is a decent and convenient place to receive health care for internal medicine and to see me primary care physician. I've don't recall any instance of having to wait more than five minutes after my appointment time before being brought into an exam room. The nurses are efficient and polite. The building itself and some of the equipment is a little bit older. But it works fine and everything is very clean. And who needs a luxury room just to have your blood pressure and temperature taken? They also have an online website where you can see your health history and they will send out texts reminding you of your appointments. The doctor/assistant I see is very quick and efficient. So you have to ask questions as they won't go into detail or be extra chummy with you. So if you want a slower paced more personal connection, this probably isn't the place for you. But for me it's more than enough."

"Bridget Swanson, P.A.-C. has made 5 mistakes with me alone in less than a month. Granted, she is very nice, but she works extremely fast, too fast in which several errors are being made. Apparently accuracy comes after speed on her list of priorities. She told me to go on 3 medications, 2 of which were over the counter, one she prescribed me, and I asked her to make sure they were all NON-DROWSY (since I have to study for finals). What does she do? She prescribes me for a medication that is known for causing drowsiness which made me drowsy too. Next, due to my physical state I asked, on Wednesday (4/20), to have a letter for school and work saying I could Not attend on Friday. She then gave me a letter saying I can return to work on the day of my doctor's visit (Wednesday 4/20). I told her right away, and then she tried to hand-write over the letter (which would not be considered valid for school or work) while writing the wrong date AGAIN saying i could work Friday. Once I told her, she said, "Do you work Saturday? You can go back to work on Saturday right?" ...Without giving me time to respond she answered her own question and said "Okay, yes you can go back to work Saturday." I don't even work Saturdays but I just wanted to get out of there so I took the letter and went home. When I got home, I noticed the letter was written to return to work and school on Thursday (4/21). In addition, I asked for two separate letters one for work and one for school in which I'm pretty sure she did not hear me since she was leaving the room while I was still talking to quickly "finish my letter." I am very sick and I have to study for finals, in which if I do not do well I cannot go to grad school starting in 2 months, and it is hard to concentrate when everything she told me to try is not working and in fact is making things worse with this medication that is making me drowsy when I specifically asked for non-drowsy medications! In the past, she mistakingly told me I needed to get a MUMPS/Rubella booster shot and told me days later they did the wrong test and told me I actually do not need the booster shot since I did build full immunity to it. I was understanding after the first mistake, but she has made too many mistakes in too little time! She needs to slow down and pay more attention to accuracy. I am very upset with the service I was given. On a side note, I also had a prior balance for over $100, when during my last three visits I was told I had a balance of zero, and everyone in the front desk does not know where this balance came from, and just told me I had to pay it. I paid it, but I have the right to know what I am exactly paying for! After I get my letter corrected, I will not be coming here anymore!"

"Well, I certainly cannot relate to the reviews from the 2 below who have complained at all. I have been a patient at Oakland Medical Ctr for 20 years and have nothing but rave reviews about it to everyone/anyone I have spoken to about it and constantly make recommendation for them to switch their care over. My personal primary care doctor is brilliant, never rushes our apt (seriously, there is no time for idol chit-chat other, Stay on track with your medical issues, that is what you're there for. ). I wouldn't change doctors for the world. I have never had extended waiting times, perhaps because I go first thing in the morning, soon the office opens, so I don't know how scheduling is done the remainder of the day. (There was only one counter staff that got moody over the years, but she has been gone for quite some time, and she wasn't always that way. I personally was never offended by her however. ) The clinic site provides blood draws x2 daily with prompt response, have their own x-ray machine, have some specialty doctors (such as podiatry, sleep medicine, etc) weekly, will schedule "select" diagnostic testing at their site including EKGs, (I had an ultrasound there once) rather than running you to the hospital for those basic tests. I have always loved this clinic and I have finally talked my husband into switching his care over, since his current primary cannot provide immediate care, blood work or other testing without running him all over the place during his busy workweek schedule. Who needs that!"
