"Wonderful group of dedicated veterinary professionals! My elderly dog just had a dental cleaning performed and he did great."

"We love Dr. Boike and his staff! They always welcome us the second we walk in the door. You can tell the staff is very well trained with animals and Dr. Boike is caring with our animals. The lobby is very clean and orderly! There is also a nice coffee bar for guests :) We have been here multiple times and have never had a bad visit. Thanks Dr. Boike and team!"

"Extremely disappointed. Staff is extremely rude, uncaring and untrained. They staff seems extremely overwhelmed- no welcome when you arrive, want you to wait in lobby and not be w/your pet during visit. Unable to use the computer system, their heads are down when checking you in and out Unable to perform a simple nail trim- unable to check you out effectively. I went to the room where I heard my dog crying. Two workers were fumbling w/computer and they had the male worker(helper) holding my dog thst is clearly not his role. They already gave my Dog the shot but they worked on the computer and let my Dog cry and sit there I do not get it. Choosing a vet to care for your pets is a big deal. The last thing this owner needs is a bad staff. I highly encourage the owner to evaluate his team and hire new team members they are clearly hurting your business Lastly - the receptionist area is a disaster - personal coats, hoodies, drinks all over the counters and hanging from their chairs Very rude, unwelcoming place- clearly different from make the make up of the rest of green oak township Pls consider a new veterinarian - disappointed guest"

"My family made the sad decision to put one of our pets down for various health reasons and low quality of life. Great Oaks tells me they will do a physical first and charge $40 before putting her down. We will not be taking any of our pets there every again. They just want more money to tell me she’s in poor health and needs to be put down. The cost is already over $200. Horrible."

"Absolutely horrible service. Chuck can't wait to get us out as soon as we come in for an appointment. Spends less than 10 minutes with our dog. Prescribed medication that wasn't needed. Had to bring our dog back & the other vet who works there provided a more thorough exam to discover heart-worm. We wanted to move forward with treatment right away. Chuck told me he needed to order treatment - has zero concern or compassion, by the way. Acted annoyed when I called twice to follow-up on ETA of said treatment. Claimed to have ordered it but supplier 'had it on backorder' & kept getting told, 'hopefully it will arrive in the next couple days.' My husband spoke to him & mentioned we were going to get 1 more blood-work sample to confirm heart-worm while we waited for medication to arrive (a recommendation from another vet). Another week went by & I called Great Oaks for an update. Chuck said he sent the treatment back. Told me that my husband & I need better communication because he thought we were having another vet take care of treating our dog. Regardless if that's what you 'thought' - you didn't have the decency to call & say 'hey, treatment arrived, did you want to move forward?' It's been over 3 weeks since we found out he had heart-worm! When I told Chuck I was trying hard not to lose my cool he told me I should find another vet. I mentioned I've called other places & earliest availability was still several weeks out. He said, 'your dog should be fine.' At this point I doubt the treatment was even ordered in the first place. To anyone who might go here, if you also see a holistic vet and/or feed your pet a raw diet, don't let these people know. Specifically Chuck, will treat you like you abuse animals. I would travel hours to another place rather than go here. Some people are passionate about their jobs & open minded about different methods of care. Chuck proved that he certainly is neither!"
