When I arrived at Specialty Eye not only was I greeted with the upmost professionalism they performed every exam necesarry to detect any serious injury to my eye. "Horrible place, they over billed me by over 3,ooo and that was a month ago and still have not fixed anything. They are hard to contact to talk about this billing issue,, no one ever is available to fix this problem.. don't go here.. the white haired woman working the front desk was rude and refused to break up my bill the way I requested as if I was causing her to much work.. she acted like she owned the place, and then still billed me wrong and then billed be a second time for another 3,000 plus. Honestly she needs to be fired..that woman was rude and just didn't care about anything"
"Very unhappy with my lenses that I paid $6000 for and was told I wouldn’t need glasses and would “save all that money on glasses through the years ” to quote Dr Ernest. I have halos, light flashing most of the day at sides of eyes, can’t see speed limit signs, exit signs when driving or my tv 8 ft away — and it’s been four months snd still not resolved. I also have to wear reading glasses. I have to wear my ore-surgery glasses which are really strong —in order to drive. Extremely dissatisfied"
"The receptionist Amy was rude and condescending from the second I walk In the door. There were multiple comments about my insurance (I guess Medicaid is looked down upon.....sorry I'm poor). The doctor was fine but the rest of the staff is rude and looks down their nose if your not well off. I would never return or recommend these inconsiderate, rude, childish, and ignorant people to care for anyone. Hey Amy being broke doesn't mean I should be ridiculed, learn how to do your job and stop judging people."
"Specialty Eye Institute is an amazing place. It was the most thorough eye examination I have experienced, but it was worth the time I spent at this appointment, because I learned so much about the condition of my eyes & why I was having difficulties seeing. I was seen by several different professionals there who did the many tests & was treated with care & respect. The Doctor I saw explained everything patiently & thoroughly so I could understand my issues & choices I could make."
