"People complaining about parking... There is generally an inverse relationship between the quality of a university education and parking availability. The more parking you have available the crummier the school is generally getting down to junior colleges where there is parking everywhere and often it is free. Parking cost money to provide. It has economic and environmental damages and it's a general maintenance chore for facilities crews. There has to be a better use for any piece of vacant land than car storage .I have been at Western Michigan and have never seen a time when there were not open parking spaces on campus. Now will it be right in front of your classroom building? Probably not. We could all use a little more exercise. Don't be the person who has to park in the fire lane in front of the gym to do your workout. Y'all should read Dr. Donald's Shoop and The High Cost of Free Parking."

"This university has the audacity to hold the transcript they forced me to pay money for over a parking ticket from 15 years ago. What a freaking money grab. I paid for a parking permit that didn’t allow me to park anywhere on campus without getting ticketed for more money. Made me spend more than the $40000 I already spent on tuition to prove I attended their university but then refuse to send the document I paid for over a $15 ticket from 2010. Unbelievable."

"Got harassed by the campus police during my freshman year, by my junior year ACAB seemed to be the popular sentiment among the student body. Never finished because I got a decent job before then. But I still pass through occasionally during a recreational run or walk"
