"I cannot speak highly enough of my PT experience at the Lowell location of Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy. The team there is outstanding and took great care of me. I worked primarily with Melissa, but had the opportunity to work with a couple of the other physical therapists as well. I have had hip and leg pain and numbness for years and have seen a couple doctors without much success. It finally progressed to the point I had to stop playing sports. I have tried PT before for another injury at a different provider, but was not completely satisfied with that experience. So I was skeptical when PT was prescribed this time. After my initial evaluation appointment, I could not have been more fortunate to be assigned to Melissa. She took the time to understand my symptoms, create a treatment plan, and guide me through the exercises that helped me make real progress towards regaining strength, increased range of motion, and eliminating pain. I had to do my part exercising at home, but at every appointment Melissa began with understanding how I was truly doing and made incremental changes to help me take the next step. As I stated before, I have had issues for years and it required time and the proper course of treatment to get my muscles working correctly again. I am now in a much better place and have been able to start playing the sports I love again! During my various appointments, I was able to observe how the team worked with clients of all ages from children to older adults. I was impressed at how the team treated everyone with care, dignity, and respect as well as making PT fun if you can believe it.
