On our way there our dog passed away and when we got there they said to bring him in and they would clean him up while we waited in a room. Brought him to us to say our good bye and told us they would have him cremated after we leave at NO Charge. We thank them and couldn't say enough. A+"

"We, unfortunately, had to take our little guy in at 1 AM. I would like to begin with saying, please be responsible to those that partake in marijuana products. Our puppy ingested some substance that contained THC outside our hotel. Naturally, we were concerned with the symptoms he was exhibiting so we took him into Veterinary Emergency Service West. Thankfully, Dr. Sharbowski was able to see him right away. She did an amazing job easing our minds with all the information about our situation coupled with the wonderful care she showed our puppy. He is doing much better!!"

"On top of bad day with family health issues, my dog had rear leg issues (could not walk). Our regular vet couldn’t get our dog in until next week. We went to here, caring service with up front cost estimates (our bill was less than estimated). A great resource for our area. It’s not cheap to keep a 24/7 emergency veterinarian staffed and ready to care for your pet, but I am glad to have it nearby."

"Veterinary Emergency Service West in Plymouth provides excellent, compassionate emergency care at a reasonable cost. I recently took my new 8-week old puppy there for severe diarrhea. Based on his symptoms, he was first tested for parvovirus, and luckily that test was negative. I was so relieved to get a quick answer on that. Once the worst case scenario was eliminated, they quickly moved on to other possibilities and the vet determined he had a parasitic infection. I went home with meds and a special diet and I'm so glad I was able to get everything needed for his treatment in one stop. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they clearly love animals. The facility is very clean and well managed. I love that they are careful about how many animals and people are in the building at one time. You may have to spend some time waiting in your car, but this is better than a chaotic waiting room full of barking dogs and possible conflicts between animals. They are upfront about costs (I was given a ballpark estimate when I called) and I found the cost for this visit to be very reasonable compared to my regular vet and another emergency clinic I've been to. This was actually my second visit to this clinic, and my first visit was also very positive for all of the same reasons. Wait times will vary. The first time I went, I waited a long time. On my recent visit, I was seen immediately. This is just the nature of emergency services, and these people are clearly doing their best to get everyone seen in the safest and most efficient way possible. I am so grateful they are there and ready to help when emergency situations arise with my dogs. My puppy is already feeling and doing much better! The attached photo was taken in the exam room."
