Roose Animal Hospital

"We've been bringing pets to Dr Roose for 30+ years, but are finally done. The practice has gone downhill since first sold several years ago. As understood, it's been sold (at least) a second time.The docs are still great, but reception and techs, not so much. Appointments are routinely rescheduled at the last moment because someone decides our cat or dog needs something else first, and we're unable accommodate them last minute. Communication between departments is frustratingly inaccurate. Told one thing by the vet or a tech, only to have it denied or changed when we try next to bring in our pets. Phone calls, questions or requests go unanswered. Optional services suddenly become mandatory, and we're left with the feeling the new owners are simply trying to up their billing. The last time we made an appointment for our dogs' yearly exam and updated shots it took more than 3 months to get in!! From posted comments it seems patients are increasingly being under served or left floundering. If you can't devote adequate care to the customers you already have, you should not be taking on new ones."

"Hands down best vet hospital around! I tried two other vet clinics before going to Roose Animal Hospital. I'm disappointed that we didn't find them sooner. Dr. Roose and his staff are so kind and truly care about their clients. It feels like family when we go here and my pup loves going even when he has to get vaccine. Bonus - they have Saturday hours too!"

"Dr. Fryburg, Renee, and the rest of the staff at Roose are amazing! We recently took our cat in for a minor surgery. Everyone was very nice, extremely communicative, and answered all of our questions. They provided accurate pricing estimates before the procedure and detailed post op instructions, even calling the next day to check in. The facilities were clean and they keep good hours. We will definitely return to Roose for any future veterinary care!"
