"Our favorite restaurant in Grosse Pointe. Absolutely love the Scamorza, the Penne Pesto with cream sauce and shrimp is delicious, and the best Tiramisu in town. Love the cozy atmosphere and weather permitting, the outdoor seating."

"Subtle hit, or massive miss. New to town, we tried Antonio's a week ago and vowed to return weekly. Food was amazing, perfect salmon, seared and flavor on point, warm bread through entire dinning (a must at any good restaurant!), and our waitress was superb. True to our word, we returned earlier this week, a Wednesday night, 6pm. I called ahead for a party of 8, and understanding larger groups can be challenging. Gentleman that I spoke with said they were not busy at all, and they could accommodate. We arrived 10 min later, the table was set, ready to go. That was the end of the positives in this review... table of 8, 1 small 8" loaf of bread, never saw more until we were paying (2 hours later). Waitress/Manger was it. She said it was just her and Tony. She ran by like it was a marathon, half of what she said was unintelligible. When she did stop, she was short, rushed, and bordering on intolerant. Clearly overwhelmed with all the tables, but that is not the customers fault. Every excuse you can imagine, as to why we couldn't get more bread, from, "we have a small oven, every time it gets opened it causes the bread not to cook.." to "we only had 3 loaves and had to give them to the 3 new customers." Food took almost an hour to reach us, bland, the salmon was cold, no flavor. I can't even comprehend two such vastly different flavor comparisons. Everyone gave up waiting for bread and ate. Waitress, "Well, I know, I'm waiting for bread too!" Right before she brought the bill, she dropped off another single small loaf. "At least I'm able to get you your bread." When we got the bill, there was no mention of a discount for all the inconvenience or poor food quality. When I asked, she was blunt and said she couldn't do anything, but she'd ask Tony. When she came back, she just shook her head and said, "Sorry, Tony said no." I started to ask her if Tony knew, and she cut me off and said, "No, I'm not going to be the messenger between you and Tony." Wait, what? I could not believe how terrible this experience was, and we all suspect it is more thr common than the fluke after reading more of the reviews. Sad, potential is there, but clearly, the owner is missing some key business insight. Don't seat tables you cannot service appropriately, be honest, and tell customers you're low on supplied or staff, and most importantly, as a server, stop, take a breath, and speak slow and clear. Act like you appreciate the diners keeping you employed. 1 star is overly generous after the experience we had. Lost a loyal customer, guessing more will follow."

"I had some delicious ravioli and eggplant parmigiana for dinner here. There was plenty of sauce, parmesan, and pasta, and the almond cake was great as well. We had an excellent waitress."
