"This is about as fun a neighborhood bar and pizza restaurant as you'll find. Classic #DetroitFriendly staff. The pizza recommendation, the Stoepel, was excellent. Looking forward to bringing more friends. It is a classic Detroit style pizza, but the base bread seemed "lighter," so it was less filling. The topings were really."

"Fantastic Detroit neighborhood restaurant! Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. A great place to catch a Michigan game as owner Marcus Jones is a U-M alumni. Loved the pizza and wings plus they have a full service bar. I hear they are fantastic for catering too! And I love that they have rooftop seating and a solar array to offset some of their energy use. Sustainable businesses always get me in their doors!"

"What an amazing find! This local pizza place boasts all the usual suspects- pizza, wings, and salads. The surprise was the extensive and super fun drink menu. You’ll find a fully stocked bar here, including nonalcoholic options. The staff is extremely friendly, and the locals who hang here give it a community feel. I will definitely be returning. Can’t wait to try out the whole menu!"

"I stopped here on a whim, hungry denamug. Ordered it to go and when I opened the box I was pleased with the smell and what I saw. My hunger was not wasted as I really enjoyed the taste of my pizza, especially the crust. What I was not pleased with is the amount of spinach I received that I paid for. I assumed it was parsley flakes and I should’ve inquired. I thought it was under the sauce or cheese—a 4 cheese blend that was great—but it wasn’t there and neither were the mushrooms I ordered. I ordered the mushrooms because they didn’t have seafood—they don’t carry it anymore even though it’s still on the menu. The sauce was really good—kind of reminded me of Buddy’s sauce. The employees were super cool and the space was great. Another plus, is that the pizza tastes great the next day in the air fryer. Just wished they gave me exactly what I paid for. I don’t mind paying more for quality food."

"Hands down, no one does Detroit style pizza better than the D! So definitely competition here in Metro Detroit. I travel across the US, including the East Coast and Chicago, hot beds for pizza. Detroit Pizza Bar is worth visiting. Very nice spot. Good overall vibe. Service was attentive. Price is moderately on the high side but not beyond reason. Drinks were priced within range and good. We had The Monica Pizza and the DPB Summer Salad, which both were tasty and filling. The only recommendation we would make is to add a few more veggie toppings. I know food costs, lol, you can do it ! Good spot to check out and support. We will be back, want to try the J5 and The Coleman Young. DPB keep up the good products and good service. Support, Support, Support!"
