"We wanted something fun to do while visiting the area and noticed this little spot had the Detroit River right behind it. I had the most delicious “Michigan salad”. It had a strawberry vinaigrette and was the perfect mix of sweet And savory. The staff were very friendly and really made the experience a great one. I accidentally started smashing the salad before I remembered to take a photo. Trust it was good"

"The food was fine. My server was friendly and pleasant. BUT I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! Quick story I do contract work in the area. I was looking for a place to grab a bite and work between meetings. I got there at about 10:30. I ordered and told my server to hold it until after 11:00 due to my intermittent fasting schedule, she obliged. I ate my food and started on my coffee, saving my toast to eat later with my second cup it is now about 11:40. The manager walks in and greets me, we make small talk about the weather. I am the only person in the place at this time. It is about 12:00. I have my second cup as I am typing and taking a call. Next, I hear the manager's voice shouting. At the same time, a different server approaches and asks if she can take the toast that I am eating. I then realize that the manager is shouting at me from across the room. He says that this is not my office and I can't be here this long. I am still the only one there it is 1:05. Now. I completely understand if there is a policy that you can only keep a table for so long. I understand if you want me to let the staff go or whatever operational things you need to do. What I cannot understand is why it was so hard to walk over and say that before shouting and asking me to leave your establishment. My server seemed embarrassed and apologetic but by that time the manager was nowhere in sight and the damage was done. I placed the Togo order that I had already planned. I tipped my server well and I left. It's the disrespect for me."

"Does this look like $25 worth of food to you? Third time in a row I've ordered take out and everything is at least $2 more than what's on the printed menu. Supposedly that's a "full" order of biscuits and gravy. Food just ain't that good to be overcharging for it. I will definitely be scratching this one off the list. Someone needs to tell these people covid is over and you can't price gouge anymore."

"I remember 10-15 years back when this place was Carter's and you could get cheap little sliders. Those days are gone and the place has changed up quite a bit. It has a little drive thru and it also has a place to get ice cream. The variety on the menu is very deep as well. I've been in here a handful of times and have had very mixed experiences; good and bad. The same can be said by the people that I've talked to that have visited. I came in here yesterday morning and had a pretty good experience. I was happy that they had quasidillas. It definitely hit the spot. And while it wasn't anything like a Mexican restaurant, it was still hot and fresh. Overall, my last experience here was quite good. Hopefully their worst days are behind them."
