"Golden Eagle takes you back to when things were good. Service good, food good, they have been doing it for 40+ years and they know how to do it. I see staff that have been there for over 20 year's! You always see the owner helping out and Fred making sure that things are going well. The food never disappoints and if you are looking for a good tenderloin with Mario sauce look no further; best around hands down. Spaghetti Bolognese is always good and the fish is always cooked perfectly You can't go wrong if you are not feeling steak as everything is tasty."
"I have never been here before but my in-laws are regulars. The food was great. Treading on the expensive side but worth the cost. I got the chicken picante and it was delicious and properly proportioned. In fact, all their proportions were great. Not too much, not too little. The staff was phenomenal. I heard the hostess recognize several customers and refer to them by name while we were waiting. Our waitress was attentive and had a great personality and also recognized other diners at other tables. I can see why people are regulars and continue to come back."

"Amazing meal. First time there and highly impressed. The clan chowder rivaled any I've had in cape cod MA, which was very surprising. The traverse City salad upgrade was excellent. The home made rolls were outstanding. I got the duck and it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Awesome find!!!"
"Never had a bad meal here! 10 oz Prime rib special on Monday (and Saturday) for $23! One of the best we've ever had! So tender and delicious! Kudos to chef Don! Great clam chowder and salad, tasty hot bread! The complete meal. And old style ambience with excellent service! Thank you for being consistently great!"
