"I got Today's Chowder soup and the Walleye for an entree. The soup was too salty for my taste, and the entree lacked much flavor. For dessert, the bourbon walnut pie was the high point of the meal. Not my favorite place in Birmingham, but worth a try - maybe something else on the menu lives up to this place's high reviews."

"One of our favorites in Birmingham. Great seafood great drinks great service. Nice atmosphere sitting outside. Got a try the lobster bisque and the shrimp and grits. Also love the map on the wall that shows where all the oysters come from…… back again 2023. Awesome chocolate martini, crab covered white fish, great tequila selection. And great service again and always."

"I went for the first time to Streetside Seafood on Saturday wanting to try something new as Ive heard it’s one of the best seafood restaurants In Birmingham. We didn’t have a reservation so we waited about 30 minutes which wasn’t so bad. The food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, in fact we felt like it needed more seasoning & flavor. We got the blackened fish tacos. They were on the sweet side with a hint of smokiness. We also got the Ruby Trout Dinner special (comes with cauliflower, Zucchini, white sauce and shallots). The fish was good, however the sauce and veggies needed more seasoning. For appetizers, we got the buffalo shrimp which was delicious! I would recommend this place for the experience being in Birmingham.."

"Great place and super nice staff. Place is small and busy, but I understand the hype. Was in town for work, and decided to try the place out due to other reviews. Was not disappointed. The server at the bar was great and friendly! Highly recommend this local place! Also garage parking is just a block away!"
