"The service was really slow tonight and there weren't many people in the restaurant. We just ordered drinks and had to wait about a half an hour after the first one before the waitress came back over. I ordered another drink and waited another 20 minutes because they lost my order. I figure everyone has an off night. It happens. I will try them another time."
"Great tavern/dive bar experience. Been a few times now and every time had a good experience. Drink prices are very fair and great selection of brews and cocktails. Standard ales and brews with some IPA's mixed in along with a variety of mixed cocktails including local specials. The food has always been on point. My absolute favorite so far has been a cup of clam chowder and plate of fresh fried fish and fries. Not fried in overused butter nasty oil. Light crispy white fish and hand cut seasoned fries were great with a Sam Adams. Also had good ol'e standard American cheeseburger and was very well made. Perfect grill patty with standard fixings was right on point. Wife has had salads along with a chicken wrap and I have to say all looked and according to her tasted as good as my meals. Always clean floors and atmosphere is welcoming. Plenty of screens to watch the game or just hang with friends. Staff always smiling and performing well. Great place for something as simple as a quick lunch or a nice dinner out!"
"Food was great. A lot of options on tap. Appreciated a grill open past 9p (10p grill closes). Came on a Thursday night and were able to get a great meal and some drinks. Service was excellent. It's sort of cavernous in there. Perfect for summer nights, but feels empty in off-season. A little greenery to divide up the middle would probably give it a perfect coziness to break up the space. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5... and will update review if improved for sure. Very clean space. Will return 100% as our new Thursday night spot. Great job!"
"I really love this place. They are usually pretty busy but we can always find a table. The waitstaff is excellent no matter who you get. Drinks are awesome. The food is always fresh and delicious! I loved every thing I’ve had there. Caesar salad with grilled chicken, jumbo shrimp, white fish, salmon, pulled pork, ham and cheese, French onion soup…..all very good! We try to come every Friday."
