"Really enjoyed the quick meal we got here. I got the Lebanese salad with chicken. Very much appreciated the different lettuces (not just romaine or iceberg). The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The toum was fluffy and light. I wish I had more stomach space. The server was attentive and polite. Personally I like the painted murals. I would definitely come back for the chef’s specials because you don’t see bamia or loubiyeh on the menu at restaurants."

"Did not disappoint. We were coming from a Firefighter cook-off but missed the Chili so we decided we needed to stop near the park for delicious food. The reviews were great so we decided on this establishment. Was everything we were hoping for! Food was delicious, Staff was EXCELLENT, and atmosphere was perfect. 3 out of 3, I say they nailed it. Stop in for a bite....we had a little bit of everything Family Platter #3......found out it feeds atleast 5 adults and 3 children with some leftovers forsure."

"What a magnificent meal!! We had the family platter for 2, which was an incredible value. Every dish in the platter was wonderful, all the ingredients were high quality, and the portions were huge. The waitress was also very attentive and very proud of the quality of the dishes. If we lived in Michigan, this place would be in our regular rotation. :) If you live around here, or you're looking for an amazing meal after visiting The Henry Ford, I can highly recommend Al Shallal Restaurant!!"

"Fantastic food & service. From the moment we walked in, we felt like friends. The hummus was exceptional - very creamy and excellent flavor. Kibbeh nayeh was just as good - perfect texture and tasted great. Chicken & Beef Shawarma are both quite good. Lunch portions are generous. The service is absolutely wonderful."
