"We had this luncheon in honor of my dad who had passed away. The service was impeccable, the girls did an amazing job, and the food was delicious. Kudos to the wait staff, the cooks and the management for making a difficult time a little nicer for us. Thank you."

"Big Bear Lodge has set the bar high for a classy "lodge" establishment. You will experience good service and a first-class dining atmosphere. The meals we had, steak with a baked potato, were flavorful and filing. The steak in particular was tender and perfectly marinated. We were expecting a little better service, but we did surprise them right after opening on a Tuesday. Nonetheless, if you're willing to pay a little extra for dinner, you will leave here comfortably satisfied."

"YUM is the best way to describe this place. Had the maple glazed smoked pork with garlic mash & apple slaw. Don’t know how, but I ate pretty much the whole thing. Had a little fresh fruit lemonade to wash it all down. Probably one of the best restaurants in the area."

"It's such a nice, cozy place, just like you're up north. Rachel was a great waitress and the food was very good. We will be back soon. I had the winter sangria, and my husband had the winter mule. Both very good. We both had lodge sirloin with mushrooms and onions. He also had a side salad. We both had the salmon, dill chowder it was so much better than I expected. Bread puddings we tried the Blueberry and the Almond joy. They were both good but u really enjoyed the blueberry."
