"Went there for lunch on a Saturday. Had to wait to be acknowledged. Owner chatting at counter finally noticed. Motioned for someone in back to come to our table. Received drinks, but once again, waiting for our server. Once they did come to take our order, we noticed she was the same person that passed our table a few times previously. The server was not personable. Once we received our food, the server placed our bill on the table with our food and never asked if we needed anything else. She never came back to our table, except to remove our plates. Once again, never asked if we wanted refill on our drinks, or dessert or anything else. Food was average. Was our first time there and last time. Very odd vibe in that place."
"Clean bright cheery atmosphere and fast friendly service. Delicious omelet and great hash browns with lots of onions. Price is right for generous portions and alterations. Best sit down restaurant in Belleville, MI. Thursday February 1 @ 10 am."
"Ordered chicken lemon rice soup and a grilled chicken wrap. Waited for a long while, I'd say about 10-15 minutes and the waitress brought my soup out. Then about 5 or so minutes later, brought the food out. I could understand if the place was packed but there was only about 5 or 6 others there. The soup was hot and tasted alright. Same for the wrap and fries, just average. My wife ordered the cheeseburger. She said it was alright as well. Nothing great, but still decent. My son ordered the kids Mac and cheese, which he only ate about half of. This does surprise me because like most other kids, he loves Mac and cheese. I took a bite and saw why. It was bland. I can't say that we will be returning but if you were ever deciding on trying Sam's, give it a shot. You might have a better experience."
"We got carry-out and the food was delicious!! The portion sizes are humongous, you'll definitely have more than enough. I got the Mediterranean Omelette which I highly recommend. Lots of delicious ingredients that the egg held together. It's so good. Hash browns were great too. Also ordered the Reuben sandwich and also so delicious and generous with the meat. They even gave us extra thousand Island dressing on the side."
