"Got the skillet. It wasn't even a skillet but a dish full of cubed potatoes and very little else with 2 eggs on top for $12. The cubed potatoes that are listed as hash browns were disgusting. So very disappointing. Looks like a nice place, but the food doesn't match the facility. Won't be back, save your money, and go elsewhere. I am very aware of what a skillet is. Had many at various restaurants across the state. Maybe you should become more informed. Sorry you don't care for the rating, but that what it's for. I wouldn't waste my money in your restaurant with your snide comment. I'm glad you have a lot of good reviews and happy customers. Unfortunately, this 1 was not."

"We traveled to South Lyon from an hour away and stopped here on a hunch. That hunch paid off!! We ordered saganaki and it was prefect! My girlfriend ordered a pita wrap and fries. I ordered the super melt and fries. Both were perfectly prepared and cooked. The speed with which the food came out was very fast! The service was everything you would expect in the way of kindness, and willingness to give you the customer a great experience. For the money you get a ton of food that is simply delicious! By the look of the building from outside it looks like fine dining, it is great simple food at more than reasonable pricing. I will go back again! Even if it's an hour drive to do so."

"This is one of our daughter’s favorite places to eat because she loves the lemon, chicken, and rice soup. We tried the “Opa” flaming cheese dish, which was a fun little spectacle for the kids. Cheese was a little sweet and a little stout, so the adults enjoyed it. The fish and chips was surprisingly good, and the gyro plate and Philly sandwich both were pretty decent and a good amount of food. The menu is huge, with a wide variety, and almost too much to choose from. Not necessarily a destination restaurant, but worth checking out if you’re in the area."

"The food here is great! We didn’t even know it was a Coney Island from the outside since it’s a very sharp looking restaurant. We love their Greek chicken salads. My only complaint is sometimes the person who answers the phone isn’t friendly - we usually do carry out orders. The one time we did dine in it was bizarre how in some booths one seating side is super tiny in comparison with the other. Not sure why that is a thing but felt claustrophobic on the one side."

"A great Coney Island dining experience in South Lyon! We went there Sunday late morning/early afternoon and were fortunate to get a booth in under a minute because the place was full of diners! I wanted breakfast but chose to have the Reuben sandwich after our waitress highly recommended it. The sandwich was packed high with copious amounts of corned beef sliced perfectly thin. The rye bread was toasted nicely but not dried out. The sauerkraut was good, but there could have been more of it on the sandwich. A large cup of thousand island dressing was served on the side. I ordered fries, and they were excellent! They were lightly battered and crispy but not over-spiced. Simply delicious! We'll be coming back again soon!"
