McDonald's

"Over the course of a month I have gone to this McDonald’s multiple times, as it is the local fast food near my home. At every visit I have had the same individual for customer service, Kayln. I have a teenage daughter who works in fast food, and I worked in fast food also so I understand the difficulties and stresses. It is unacceptable that every single time I come my order is wrong I am forced to wait while I watch other vehicles continually move past me and then I am spoken to as if I am an inconvenience. Either this person is not cut out for the job, which happens, or the management of this McDonald’s does nothing to ensure it workers are trained and capable to do their jobs. Either way I recommend going to any of the other fast food establishments in Portland, though slower they at least take care of you and give you your correct order."

"They were so busy and did the best they could. It took several tries to get our order right, and we still didn't get the right drink when all was said and done, but given how busy they were, it was bound to happen. It would not stop me from going back."

"Food was fine, what you expect from McDonald's, drive thru was messed up, was never served my order... apparently I was not supposed to pull up to the far window so two order can be filled. Had to eventually walk in to get the order"

"Fast food?? Really!?!? Food was barely warm. Coffee not much warmer than the food. Our coffee had been sitting on the shelf in the lineup for half the time we had been waiting. We were there for 42 minutes waiting for our food. We had maybe a dozen or so other customers waiting about as long as us. Some others just left before getting their food even though they paid for the food. The old lady packing food yeld at everyone in the lobby... When someone asked how much longer? We warned a couple of cars that parked to come in what was going on... they turned around, heading back to their cars, saying, "Taco Bell it is!" And thanked us for letting them know. We normally don't go to McDonald's much since Covid. When did McDonald's get so expensive. People didn't go to McDonald's for the gourmet dining... they went because the price was cheapest to feed a family. It's almost cheaper to eat at Red Lobster."

"They are very unprofessional . They can’t even manage a schedule to give a struggling mom 34 hours minimum, would only schedule me 23. I came to work all the time lol. Unless it was an emergency or something to do with my child. Still was at work though. They also are very dishonest about starting pays. I have and always had 7 days open to close therefore I was told $14/hr and was paid $1 less . Shorted ab $170 from my check I needed to support my son. So therefore the manager and district manager are unprofessional and don’t put their employees considerations first and underpay hard workers."
