"Stopped in for lunch and dessert, was pleasantly surprised! The chicken salad sandwich on a croissant was awesome, my son ordered a panini called the RIP - a warm toasted cowboy style sandwich with bacon, granny smith apple, BBQ and pepperjack cheese, he let me try it, both were delicious. Prices were good too. We spent less than we would’ve at Subway and got way tastier food plus a neat experience. The decor in this place is amazing. The minute you walk in, wow. Its so beautiful. Reminded me a bit of a 50s diner or Rosie’s diner, with a modern twist. They had many unique (and classic) flavors of ice cream too and the sundae we got after our lunch didn’t disappoint! I do wish there was a single scoop sized sundae for kids. Loved the ambience and music here - there are even board games and comfy couches to hang out and read or play with a specialty coffee or cocoa in hand. My kid commented he didn’t like when they turned the music off for soms reason, and I agree, it just adds to the atmosphere so much and should definitely always be on. :) The connected Rising Pheonix store adjoining the cafe also had lots of cool gifts, handmade items and antiques to check out, all at very reasonable prices."

"I love mystic mug and have been a regular for six months. I love the owner, the concept, the menu, and having a coffee shop in Kent city! However consistently is a huge problem. My drinks always taste different. Sometimes my lattes are burning hot, sometimes Luke-warm. The iced drinks are often very watery. Sometimes the drinks are way too sweet, sometimes no flavor at all. Recently I ordered an iced chai latte and received milk with ice and a tea bag in it. There is one employee, a younger woman with short hair, that always does an amazing job but the other employees seem very confused and usually get it wrong. I hate to leave a negative review and I will still continue to give mystic mug my business, I just want to give some feedback from the point of view of a frequent customer."

"Stopped in after paying my property taxes to check it out and was pleasantly surprised, my sandwich was huge, took half home for later. The latte I had was the Spotted Owl because the owl is my favorite bird, this could be my favorite drink here now……….."

"I love the decor! The coffee menu is quite vast and they have a great ice cream selection as well. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"Visiting the area from Reno, NV. Stopped by to grab some coffee and was blown away by the customer service and atmosphere. Prices are extremely affordable and the coffee was fantastic. Wish we had this place in Reno. Reccomended very highly!"
