"Nothing too fancy and has the old diner feels. People here are super nice and it doesn't feel rushed like most places in GR. Time to sit and enjoy some simple food for a decent price. Plenty of parking and easy entrance. Breakfast ends at 11 but I'll have to come back and try a lunch here sometime ! Sara D was our waitress and she was spectacular."
"Russ' Restaurant is a staple of my childhood. I have such good memories there with my grandparents, and now as an adult with my parents and my kids. They even employed me for five years as my first job! This place is a bedrock of the Greater Grand Rapids, Holland and Muskegon area. Everyone I have been to is a wonderful experience."
"I love Russ's! I go to a different one quite regularly, but this was my first time at this one. Whenever I go for lunch or dinner I always get the Reuben sandwich. Even though I've had it dozens of times I swear this was the best one I've ever had. The fries were also the best I ever had. I was in Russ's restaurant heaven LOL. Very good stuff. My only complaint that I could come up with would have to be that the bathrooms were super cold. It was a warm day out and they must have cranked the air conditioners in the bathroom. Considering the sensitive nature of the body part that makes contact with the toilet it was rather uncomfortable LOL. But that was a rather minor detail."
"You know, if you're looking to have a cup of coffee and a sandwich with onion rings, Russ' is pretty great. The prices are dirt cheap compared to equivalent competitors in the same restaurant genre. Russ' food is inoffensive and caters to the old Dutch crowd, but it is well executed and tasty if you're in the mood for family style diner type food. You can easily get solid food for two people and skate out of here for around 20 bucks."
