"We ate just after lunch hour, our server was very attentive, kept our waters full, gave us the sauces we asked for or needed for our egg rolls, and our two entries. Our dishes were excellent in taste, and presentation as well late this summer. We will be back the next time we are on the southwest side of town, which will be on 01/23/2024 for lunch. Looking forward to another great meal."

"Blue Ginger is the best sit-down Chinese restaurant in the Grand Rapids area. The service is always phenomenal. I've been coming for 10+ years and am yet to have a bad meal. I'm yet to even have a so-so meal. It's always great. They bring water and hot tea to your table. The tea is so good and compliments their food nicely. The food comes out family style, with a big bowl of communal rice and a dish of each ordered entree. The rangoons here are very delicate, I recommend them. If you like spicy food, Blue Ginger's hottest available spice level probably won't reach what you want. Even their hottest spice is pretty tame heat-wise. Still, if you want premium Chinese food in GR and not low quality mass made buffet Chinese, then Blue Ginger is the place to go. I'd go here over PF Chang's any day."

"Crab cheese (crab rangoons) with no crab, burnt "beef strings", meat in princess chicken not great quality, fried pork wonton over cooked with nearly no detectable pork, my husband stopped eating his orange chicken(he said there was little to no orange flavor and it tasted worse the more he ate). So yeah, overall pretty poor experience. We tried Blue Ginger because they have pretty decent reviews and are close to home, and now I know not to divert from our typical go to place. Positives: The staff were friendly and service was fast. The price wasn't bad or wouldn't have been if the food was decent. Maybe the mistake was choosing take out rather than dining in?"

"My girlfriend and I were NOT impressed at all by our food. I had the orange beef and she had the beef pad Thai. My orange beef had barely any beef as it was mostly breading. Also, the portion size was not what I was expecting for the price. The orange beef had good flavor, but it wasn’t significant enough to compensate for the lack of beef. She thought the beef pad Thai was okay, but not great. Overall, we probably won’t come back unless we’re desperate for Chinese food."
