"Overall I wasn’t necessarily satisfied with the cost, nor value for what I received. If I were to include Stephanie’s attitude and all the uncleanliness of the lobby, then yes this is a great value for the cost and I surely made out like a bandit. Is it that I pay money for a service that is completed for me, or is it that I pay money for a service that I complete for Stephanie? Audri and Stephanie need better housekeeping skills. Perhaps an end of shift checklist, or an off-hour/Saturday/Sunday observation from Smoochie-Pooch corporate could easily solve this problem situation before it gets anymore out of control. Dog hair all over the business lobby at 11am(yikes): on the floor, outside the front door on the sidewalk, all over the floor runner inside the front door. Also dead flies( yes plural-many) on the window sill by the register. The “3rd place”- groomer Stephanie needs to take a customer-service-skills-training workshop for her less-than-joyous attitude and for her to wrap her head around proper customer service skills so that Stephanie learns that her wages come from customers in her customer-service based industry. When Stephanie spoke to me, she made herself sound 3rd-rate, not 3rd place. Audri could also benefit by learning better listening/people skills for when a customer(customer-based-business) explains how they want a grooming completed, then doesn’t complete it that way."

"I took my 2 year old, high-energy chocolate lab to Smoochie Pooch at the Chesterton location for her very first grooming session. She had a de-shed shampoo/blow-dry, a nail trim, and her ears cleaned. She came out looking pristine! The environment was calm, which is an important thing for dogs with anxiety or higher energy levels. I worked with Stephanie, and she was very pleasant and professional. She explained the grooming process, and she also sent me an update as to how my pup was doing. I could tell from the picture that my pup was calm and the background was clean and well-kept. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning to Smoochie Pooch!!"
