"Both of my daughters have attended Southwood. I have a second grader and one in 5th grade. The staff and Teachers really do go above and beyond for the students. The student body is friendly and respectfull. It really is a nice community to be involved in . We actually do not live in the Kentwood district anymore but continue to school of choice into Kentwood schools and Southwood. I highly recommend Southwood."
"Both of my children are attending Southwood elementary. I have to say I love the way the teachers work with my children. Ms Winkler and Mrs K are fantastic. They are both caring women and have a heart for teaching. The only complaint I have is that the school lunch does not look to even be edible. I saw a child eating a "pizza" if you can call it that. If in the budget I would re-evaluate that. My children will continue to bring their lunches though."
