"Didn't really get to try out the food,other than an appetizer,as they were short staffed and not working on a full menu, but the server was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Will be back to try again."

"We as locals finally decided to try the merit restaurant. November 24th approximately 5:00 p.m. with our daughter and two grandchildren so a party of five. The waitress obviously did not want to be there, she did not know what the vegetable of the day was, the baked potato my husband ordered was not cooked through still to raw to eat. He asked me to taste his lemonade which was lemon-flavored water, The waitress did come back by and ask if everything was okay. when we received our meals there was yelling and arguing from the kitchen dropping the f-bomb over and over again needless to say we did not enjoy our time there we will not be coming back. Our bill did come to $80 for two children's baskets two adult baskets and one adult chicken strip meal we did leave a $20 tip because we know that's what they live on but again we will not be returning so it's disappointed"

"Stopped in by chance Saturday Nov 11 around noon. We were a group of 6. There was only one employee cooked and serving. She was incredible. We had such a great time and so so many laughs. The employee created such a fun filled atmosphere and the owners should be so grateful to have this employee."

"On Friday night they have a fish fry. We came for drinks which were cheap. They have drink specials."

"This was a very fun experience and made that way completely by the staff. When i rode up there was only 1 bartender waiting on customers, the place was very quiet. She was very quick, polite and fun. Within an hour the place had about 15 customers and maybe 3 or 4 more bartenders and waitresses. Very personable team and great to talk to, I was treated like a regular from the start and appreciated their conversation. Bonus for me was that they had Lethal Weapon on the tv behind the bar. Food prices were a little high but worth it - burger was strongly seasoned and was a nice size. They had a cod special for $17 that i would have ordered but i didn't see the sign till after i ordered. I'm bummed that i've been up this way for 4 years and am only discovering this place now - with it being only 30 minutes away from the cabin i'll be there much more. The items around the place are very interesting to see and read. Thank you, this was a great place to discover!"
