"I am in LOVE! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with smiles and warmth that set the stage for feeling like you are with family. I was so pleased at how many flavor profiles the menu offered!  The plates of food we saw being delivered to the tables made it so hard for us to decide what we wanted. The pasties looked AMAZING! What really stood out about the Whitetail Restaurant and Grill was how friendly they were and how much attention they gave us, making sure we were well taken care of. Oh, and the Salted Caramel Whisky Hot Cider ?!?!?  That was incredible, and it was a good thing someone was there to stop me from making those my meal. We had the Whitetail Steak and Alfredo, which was cooked to perfection, and you can't roll through a town without trying what the locals say is one of the best burgers. They were absolutely right, as that was also perfection and the cook did my chips exactly how I asked. We also ordered a pizza so we could take some back to our hotel with us, and the only thing I regret is not ordering more. If you find yourself in Moran, Michigan, PLEASE visit the Whitetail Restaurant and Grill. I can't wait to go back but this time, we will be getting breakfast. I heard their omelets are fantastic."

"My husband and I stopped because they serve breakfast all day. Looked OK. Waitress had on dirty sweatshirt and latex gloves she did not change once the whole time we were there. I ordered biscuits and gravy. It was literally tasteless pasty gravy with a few chunks of sausage. The biscuits were hard as rocks. Seemed like maybe yesterday's heated to long in microwave. If the gravy had not been so pasty it would have softened them, maybe. I ordered hot tea and got 3/4 cup luke warm water and a decaf teabag thrown on table. Husband had French toast and was OK. His biscuit was not much better than mine. We paid $30 for the worst breakfast of our trip. Very disappointed."

"The experience started out ok, the waitress was nice enough and kind to our son. She even let us try a pasty for free because we had never heard of it. She then out of the blue and unprompted asked my wife when she was expecting (pregnancy). We were absolutely mortified by how rude and out of pocket that question was. The food was ok, not great. Steak had ZERO flavor. The pasty was ok, eggs and hashbrowns were good. I hope this review reaches the owner to let them know how uncomfortable her insensitive comment made my wife and our table."

"We stopped at this family owned and operated restaurant for a quick bite and it was amazing. The food and the staff were both really good. We had omelette and skillet and saw a lot of people ordering pasties. I highly recommend it."

"Great food and prices for a quick stop, just passing through. It looks like the new owners are starting to update the place, which it desperately needed. I hope (for the workers sake), that air conditioning is next on the list. Even though it was really busy when we were there, the food came out quickly and it was still hot and exceeded our expectations. Keep up the great work!"
