"Very rude employees. I went there to return a peice of cut fabric that wasn't needed. I waited in line for 10 minutes with only one cashier working. When I got up to the counter finally another cashier came up. An older woman. The young man at the counter told me that I had to go back to the fabric counter first so that they could measure the fabric. I asked if I could come back to the same register after I walk all the way back to the fabric counter to have my fabric measured and he and the older woman said that I'd have to go back and wait in the long line of at least 12 people again. So why should I have to run all around the store and do their job to make a simple return???? This is the only retail store that I had such a difficult time processing a return. They have no problem taking your money, but make it difficult to return an item. My family and I will never shop here again. We will definitely go to hobby lobby instead."

"The beginner sewing class was FUN & informative. The instructor was patient, thorough & answered all your questions. She was very knowledgeable & Great all around. I would recommend the class if you have never taken a sewing class. **update** the store made a few changes to their layout. I felt like the cardstock section was shortened. The store employees remain very helpful & nice!"

"This holiday I was in search of Tree Toppers, I went EVERYWHERE!!! And couldn't find. I went to JoAnn's and there was a lovely lady (I think her name was Sharon) This sweet helpful lady went over& beyond!!! She showed me how and what to use and buy to make a beautiful ribbon and tree topper. I love the store! It was not packed and all the ladies were so helpful. I tried to tip the sweet lady that helped us but she wouldn't take anything! I'm giving this recommendation if you're in need of crafts and are unaware,DIY ( like I was!) This Is the place to go!!!"
