"Wow what an operation. my wife is an avid gardener and has ordered from them before and she wanted to stop by Bluestone Perennials while we were in the area. We were totally amazed at their operation. They employ over 125 people and ship to every state including Alaska and Hawaii. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we were able to find some "hard to find" perennials. A must see if you like to garden and are in the area."

"Fantastic quality and customer service. I have and still order from other companies, but Bluestone has never failed me. Orders are shipped on time, packed well to protect plants and the quality is amazing. I actually waited a year to write this to see how my perineal plants would come back in 5b. All of them came back and are thriving. Even the Hellabore my dog dug up twice. I used customer service because one of my dahlias in a package was dried up and not useable, they wouldn’t have known prior to shipping, they quickly replaced it. They are my number one choice for quality and service hands down. Here are photos of my babies coming back year 2."

"I am updating my original 2-stars review to 5-stars because Bluestone was quick to resolve the issue I had with my order, without giving me any trouble. Although my first order didn't work out for me, it seems like it did for others based on many positive reviews. I'm willing to give them another try since they have great customer service and beautiful varieties that are hard to find elsewhere. I'm really hoping it works out and that I will be a regular customer."

"I've always had great experiences with Bluestone's plants and record keeping. This is a well run company that raises quality stock. I use them for hard to find varieties that I could never find locally. This spring they are offering their 50/50 Friday's deal for 50% off a selection of perennials each week and promise they will combine your orders each week and refund your shipping. Considering my good history with them I jumped right on that offer! And I am happy to report that my orders are being combine and my refunds are coming each week like clockwork just as I expected. It is always a little risky to order anything alive through the mail as so much depends on the shipper's handling and even the weather. Luckily, Bluestone is on my side of the country, and they pack things very well. The plants I receive are always healthy and ready to go. Within a couple of months my starter plants look as good or better as any finished nursery product, with the added bonus of being exactly what I wanted, not what the store decided to stock."

"Beware of this place. I spent $167.40 (not including shipping). The plants I have received are starter plants and not the healthiest plants I have ever purchased. Not worth $11.95+ range of price. They are not even worth $8.99 like Proven Winners. The quality of the plants are not the greatest either. What a rip off. I hope for them to go bankrupt instead of ripping people off. The agastache plants came broken. I paid $15.95 each."
