"I will always try to pick a local small business over the big box store. We’ve had pretty good experience with Shelly, Kalen, and the technicians over the years. I was replacing a whirlpool washer that only lasted 18 months which was frustrating but not necessarily Smetzer’s fault. Also, even after I warned the install guys that I just finished having the walls painted in my home they did find a way to scrape the new paint and dent the wall which was a bummer as the sting hadn’t worn off from the bill yet. I went with a new Speed Queen washer by the way. Hope it lasts as long as they say it will."

"Way too EXPENSIVE ($195) for a simple & local (Norwalk), service call to replace freezer light bulb, less than 4 years old. The only reason I had to have them replace it was I am handicapped and the bulb is in a lower drawer freezer too difficult to even see where it was to be installed."
