"The new space is very nice, the event was for activist and author Angela Davis. Bravo and thank you for the seat at the Third Space Action Lab's table."

"Wanted to get a quick lunch before the baseball game. This place was across the street from our motel. Philly steak sandwich was delicious, and we had a lemon Bundt cake which was very good. Staff was very polite. Liked it so much went back after the game for a few drinks. Place was very clean. Thumbs up"

"Good speeches and okay food. Friendly staff and a range of political opinions are this place's specialty. And if you do not agree with what is being said, be sure to get in a question! Their commitment to the principle of free speech is immaculate and they support local works."

"This is a unique American space, not because of the looks of it, but because of the philosophy it promotes. I recommend everyone to see a speaker there sometime. The City Club is famous for bringing in controversial figures, speaking on behalf of edgy topics. So you might not agree with everything, but you will appreciate that this spot has allowed those voices to be heard for more than a century."
