"I visited the store to inquire about how much they would pay for used golf balls and was quoted $.20 a ball. I also observed that they were selling used golf balls for $.59 cents a ball. Not a bad margin and I totally get turning a profit, so no problem there. A few days later, I went with my 209 washed and sorted golf balls, along with a bike trainer, a volleyball set, a Coleman four person tent and a bike rack. An old guy behind the counter told me to walk around the store and wait, which is fine since they need time to look through everything. He repeated himself in a more grumpy tone a second time, as if I had refused or ignored him, which I hadn't. I guess he was having a bad day or something. I said sure I'll go down the road and be back in just a few minutes. He responded with, no. You can't leave this area and if you do you're going to have to take all your stuff with you. Once again, not sure what's going on with his affect, but I can only assume he's having some kind of personal problem. So, I walked next door for about 20 minutes and came back and was told that they have no market for the bike rack, the bike trainer, or the volleyball net. Moreover, they offered me $25 in cash for 209 golf balls. Do the math 209x.$20=$41.80. I even asked if there were some balls they couldn't use and I was told that all of them were good and that they appreciated that I had washed and sorted them. I left with my $25 and later on realized there was no mention of the tent that I had also brought in. So, I called to ask about it because it wasn't mentioned when I was there a few minutes ago. The person who picked up, put me on hold for a few minutes and came back with the same line of not having a market for a tent, because people don't come in each week to buy a tent. Sure, whatever. Fortunately, I was able to come in and get my tent back, but I got to say these guys just seem jaded, a little shady and have little respect for well-intended honest people who come into the store. If that's your thing, then definitely check it out... But if you prefer honesty, respect and dignity, you may want to look elsewhere."
