"Ordered 240 ft of vinyl privacy fence from this company through home depot. I have now went back to Home Depot 4 times to replace broken, cracked, and twisted vinyl pieces. All the boxes they were shipped in were undamaged, telling me they were packaged with damage and shipped that way. All this after the shipping company used a box truck with a lift gate to deliver. After loading realized they could not off load because pallet was too big for lift gate. Ended up delivering to Home Depot and I had to pick it up. Never again will I buy any Barrette products."

"Great material. But if I have to wait 7 weeks to get my order, and then an additional 7 weeks to get a missing part, it’s just not worth it. I have to stick with trex, Timbertech or westbury"

"Ordered about $10k worth of vinyl fence material through Lowe's. Barrette outdoor living forgot to include one of the 5ft wide gates in the original order, so I worked with lowes to have a replacement expedited to the store. The replacement showed up a week later with a 4" hole in the bottom rail and was completely missing the hinges and hinge covers. No signs of damage to the box so it was shipped this was from Barrette. Barrette Outdoor Living is a terrible distributor and I will not be using their materials in the future."

"In my 18 years in business, I have never encountered such a horrible company. Took 3 seperate orders for a few fence panels and for the life of them they cannot send the right parts...and just when I think they do...there is pieces missing after partial install. I will do my best to attempt to convince our Home Depot to seperate themselves from this company. Total garbage!!"

"Just read the reviews....this is an unfair business with unethical practices. They are blaming the rusting vinyl on my contractor! Saying he was working with steel and the steel "flew into the product" and stuck there. This is not the case. A) - My contractor indicated there wa sno steel work done. I did not hire them to do any steel work anyways. Dont even have steel outside this building, B) A review of the camera that is RIGHT THERE at where my contractor works - I tediously went through the entire time he was there - and they are being truthful. Barrette says "No - they still are lying". What???? So what it boils down to is the company (who has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with anyways) does not want to honor their warrantee. Thats not ethical practices. I wouldnt even cost them much so dont even get their practices. If I did this I would be out of business. But big companies have big money and can screw customers at their leisure. 2nd time with Veranda and Home Deport related products that warranty wasnt honored. 20 years ago Veranda was recalled and mine wasnt ignored . It all fell apart and bcaem a dangerous liability at my home - thats another story. 2 Years it too kin fight to get thru that one"
