"Only 1 star because less than 1 is not an option. Do NOT purchase flooring from HOME DEPOT and have GS FLOORING install. We did and now we regret the entire process. Home Depot does not install. They contract to GS Flooring who in turn sub contracts to a drug addict named Avery. Avery then sends his flunkies to your home, HIGH on whatever they’re smoking, and do amateurish work at best. While the crew was at my home, I found one of them in my back yard getting high. I told GS Flooring and he said they have no control over their sub contractors. They did a terrible job which needs repaired and completed. The work began in November, 2022. It is now August, 2023. After several attempts at getting the job completed, GS Flooring has made nothing but empty promises. They assured us they would order the required material and finish the work and not only has the work not been done but, they stopped responding altogether."

"These are the contractors with Home Depot. DONT LET THEM INSTALL YOUR CARPET FROM HOME DEPOT. They're a nightmare to work with. If you have any tile floor, they're scared of a lawsuit from asbestos. I've had a few bad experiences with them numerous times, and if they think your floor has asbestos they won't install. They wanted me, numerous times from numerous carpet orders from home depot, to pay for a specific asbestos test (they refuse diy test kits you do yourself), and that I delay this process. If I didn't get the asbestos tested they required me to have the tile professionally removed. AND THEY TOLD ME THIS AFTER I PAID AND A WEEK LATER. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME!"

"They were contracted by Home Depot to do my carpet install 2 times. Both times they were very unresponsive and I had to call in to get every single update even though they promised someone would call me back. When I raise this issue to them they show no sign of apology and are very stuck up. Both times they raised issues regarding asbestos. We used licensed asbestos vendors for testing and removal where applicable but they still rejected the results. They are not a licensed asbestos vendor themselves so I don’t know what gives them the power reject the work of other licensed vendors. The first time eventually Home Depot was able to get my installation through another floor company. We were not the only ones stuck in this situation. Whomever Home Depot was able to get to come out to install our carpet the first time did a great job. They were very accommodating in squeezing us on the schedule since GS floor design had already left us hanging for weeks. The entire time communication was forthcoming and courteous. The workers were also very polite, kind and careful. I think Home Depot should consider changing partners. The second time we’ve reported them to Home Depot corporate to help get a resolution."

"I ordered Traffic Master Vinyl click lock flooring from Home Depot and they contracted out the job through GS Flooring. I could not have been happier with the results. The technician Steve and his partner were fantastic. It was a 3-day job because it was over 700sq feet of floor they had to install. The technicians removed the old laminate floor as well as the carpet in the living room and hauled it away on the first day. They also took their time to condition the floor. They found a couple high spots that they sanded down. The next two days they finished the job to include helping move appliances and furniture as well as installing the quarter round and transitions. And when they were complete, they cleaned up like they weren't even there. Steve and his partner were super polite and respectful. They worked around my pets and my kids. They took their time to do it right, yet they were efficient. They didn't stand around doing nothing. They were always hard at work. I could not have asked for a better experience."

"The two guys were absolutely great to work with! Would definitely have them back for future projects! My husband is hard to please and these two definitely won him over!"
