"Rented a piece of equipment that started spraying oil all over. Called and requested they bring me a replacement machine so I didn't have to drive 30 minutes each way and lose more time. They agreed to bring another machine (good) and I was told that if it was user error (it wasn't) that caused the problem there would be a service charge. They dropped off the machine and everything was great. When I returned and went to pay, they charged me a $250 service fee! The owner insisted I was instructed by his employee on how to fix the problem (the oil filler cap was off inside the machine) but he had not given me any such instruction or I would have fixed it. After 1/2 hour of discussing the fact that it was not "user error" and in spite of his employee agreeing that he had said no fee if not user error, the owner still charged me $125 extra. It was a complete rip off and I will never use Hamilton Rentals again."

"I first acquired a 4” marking gauge in Gaboon Ebony, a beautiful marking gauge. After using it for a few weeks I realized how well made this gauge is and the precision that goes into the fit and finish. The batwing design is very comfortable in the hand in almost any position for marking your stock. I am extremely pleased to own and use this gauge. I sought out a small marking gauge for the clock cases I build and use the 4” for the small parts.For cabinet work I have today received a 6” version of the same marking gauge. The 6” version is of the same precision of fit and finish and is also a beautiful device."

"had to put down some straw and rented a straw blower, little did I know they even sold straw so they saved me from making two stops to get a weekend job done. Fair rate on the straw blower and fair price on straw. Made my job a lot easier being a one stop shop for a project I really did not want to waste a lot of time on. Very well maintained equipment and very easy to work with. I will be going back for my rental needs in the future."
