Pro Desk at The Home Depot

"Rude and condescending customer service person at the customer service counter. When asked about their torn bags soil pricing policy, she said she can tape it up and charge me full price. Then when asked about any discount since some of the product is missing , she told me to go pick up another bag since I torn bag was available. She basically made up store policy with out knowing or asking anyone. Then she said she did not have the authority to change any prices on torn bags and some one from garden had to do that. I asked who was in charge of garden? She then pointed to the guy standing behind me wearing a HD apron. Then I asked her if another HD had a particular pot available since there was only one available at this store. She straightaway answered. If there was only one available at this store then that’s all there was. Basically she could not be bothered to look on her HD inventory list at other stores. So again I turned to the guy behind me and he told me there were several available at the Marysville store. So to get to the bottom of this persons rude behavior behind the counter. Could it be I was Asian Indian? Definitely. Could it be she is incompetent to stand behind the counter? Possibly . I am giving 2 stars for the guy who was standing behind me and actually knew what I he was talking about . The lady behind the counter should be fired."

"The Pro Desk Staff are always cordial especially Renee and Jerry. They are very knowledgeable about their products and special orders. If I have a question they always point me in the right direction. These employee's are easy to work with and I appreciate their Professional."

"The staff in the plumbing department are unwilling to even try and help. Went in looking for pipes to reduce down on another pipe so I can hook up a water hose and the dude in plumbing looked at it and said they don't have it at all. Well I called a master plumber friend of mine and he found the parts I needed in the time it took for someone to actually come and help me. Very disappointed that the guy didn't even bother trying at all"
