"Terrible place. If you call them on the phone for pricing, it's cheaper. But when u show up in person the price is $6 more on a sheet of 7/16 4×8. They had 5 customers that came in that said the same thing on the pricing. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Wasted a half hour of gas getting there. Home depot or lowes have better prices"
"Excellent Customer Service at 84 Lumber with Evan. Evan was very professional and helpful on designing and ordering the materials that was needed to build a bank barn door. Evan also recommend a contractor(Cody) to build and install the door. Cody did an excellent job! Very hard worker and also very pleasant. The barn was built in 1826 so it definitely needs more work but the new door is excellent!! I would definitely recommend Evan at 84 Lumber for all your building needs… Also ask for Cody’s info if you need a good contractor!"
"I own a small construction company, mostly decks fences etc. and I call Evan at 84 in Vandalia for all my lumber and hardware. They take great care of me and go above and beyond every time. Him and Carl are great guys and 84 is lucky to have these guys at their counter. 10/10"
"Overpriced lumber and delivery fee. Way higher than other lumber suppliers. They scheduled a delivery time and were 3 hours late to the job site causing issues with installers and customers. Do not recommend."
