"They provide a quality, user-friendly product to rebuild your vehicle’s alternator for a person with limited mechanical skills. Their help video is slow paced and detail oriented (for the most part). It did not go into soldering, so that you will have to learn (but there is not a lot to do). When I opened the box, I was surprised at what I received for the price; it seems like the parts would have been way more expensive. I like the fact it allows you to keep reusing your original alternator for many different reasons: quality, environmental, re-installation is easier, etc. I did purchase the higher amperage “front” aka stator (to help at idle) which made installation easier; someone serious about their job made mine. Their shipping was quick and problem deficient. The only negative was customer service via asking questions through email. Each of the answers to my questions were introduced with “same as the video”. (referring me to the help video). This repetition became frustrating as it would have been easier to just answer the question. However, I worked around this by calling my local shop. My advice would be to watch the rebuild video before purchasing. They do a nice job producing it, so you’ll easily be able to say “yup, that’s something I can do”. In finality, I would recommend this to anyone who has even a touch of mechanical ability and is looking to keep their “stock” alternator (that is, the one installed at the factory). I am one of those people who have to research a problem extensively. It is very difficult to beat the quality of an alternator provided by the vehicle manufacturer, even a rebuilt one. The price of the kit is less than what you would pay for a standard replacement and your keeping the base quality of your OEM part."
